The body of a missing 5 year old boy in Boise has been found.    Authorities had issued a missing person announcement after Matthew Glynn went missing from his birthday party Monday.  Yesterday just before noon his body was found in the Farmers union canal in Boise while in an inflatable kayak.   



A local wedding DJ is in trouble after an incident that occurred Saturday in Jerome.  50 year old Shane Andrew Klaas of Twin Falls allegedly had a verbal argument with guests.  He then reportedly grabbed a pistol and put it in his waistband.  Deputies later recovered a handgun after he was taken into custody.



An Idaho Falls non-profit BMX group is dealing with over $9,000 in damages after two rodeo bullfighter contestants took a joyride on a stolen city golf cart through their track Friday night.  Security footage from Snake River BMX in Idaho Falls shows two men on a golf cart tearing through the track and destroying the raceway next to Sandy Downs after the War Bonnet Roundup.



The Bureau of Land Management Owyhee Field Office is temporarily closing some BLM-managed public lands in Owyhee County, including the Jump Creek Recreation Site, due to the risk of the nearby Jump Fire. The Jump Creek Recreation Site is located seven miles southwest of Marsing.  The blaze has burned over 12,000 of grass and is 0 percent contained.



State employees who become foster parents will now enjoy a new benefit – eight weeks of paid parental leave after welcoming a foster child in their home.  Governor Brad Little directed the Idaho Division of Human Resources to issue a policy and any necessary rule changes for all State of Idaho executive branch entities to offer this expanded benefit to foster parents starting Oct. 1.


Twin Falls city officials say the splash pad at Sunway Soccer complex will remain closed for the rest of the summer.  Crews have been making repairs that began last year.
