Idaho State football Head Coach Cody Hawkins has announced that John Hughes will join the Bengal Gridiron program as the new offensive line coach. Hughes comes to the Bengals from Utah Tech where he spent the previous five seasons as co-offensive coordinator while coaching the offensive line for the Trailblazers.
From the local hardwood yesterday first for the boys varsity basketball action Wood River took the win over Jerome 52 to 43. It was Butte County 62 Carey 40. Lighthouse Christian defeated Hansen 76 to 53. Dietrich took the win over Hagerman 66 to 46.
For the Girls, Dietrich defeated Hagerman 55 to 15.
Because of the weather many of the games were postponed.
Taking a look at the varsity high school schedule for basketball today, first for the boys, where Declo travels to the Sun Valley Community school. Camas county travels to Hagerman, Jerome will host Burley, Wood River travels to Minico, Twin Falls is on the bus to Mountain Home and Dietrich travels to Richfield.
For the girls, Shoshone goes to Lighthouse Christian in Twin Falls. Valley travels to Carey. Buhl to Gooding, Glenns Ferry to Hansen, Filer is on the bus to Kimberly, Murtaugh travels to Oakley and Castleford to Raft River. Declo will be on the bus to play Wendell.
