Boise state bronco fans are getting ready for a late night showdown tomorrow. The broncos are hoping to maintain the perfect all-time record against Colorado State and keep it going with an undefeated start to mountain West play. The debut of Boise State's two-quarterback system got off to a rocky, confusing start, but ultimately proved to be successful last week. Boise State head coach Andy Avalos said Taylen Green will remain the starting quarterback.
From yesterday’s games, first for District Boys Soccer, Wood River took the win over Mountain Home 1 to 0. Kimberly defeated Bliss 1 to 0. The Sun Valley community school outlasted Wendell 3 to 1.
For the Girls, Buhl outlasted Bliss 3 to 1. Canyon Ridge for the win over Mountain Home 1 to 0. Kimberly defeated the Sun Valley community school 5 to 1.
In Volleyball games, Kimberly defeated Filer 3 to 2. Butte County defeated Grace 3 to 0.
As for the games set for today, first to football, Camas County travels to Castleford, Mountain Home is on the road to Caldwell. It’s Carey’s senior night as they host Murtaugh. It’s Filer’s senior night as well and they will welcome Declo to the field. Hansen travels to Hagerman. It’s Jerome’s senior night as they take on the Burley Bobcats. Buhl travels to Kimberly. Glenns Ferry will play Lighthouse Christian. Valley travels to Oakley. Butte County will be on the road to play Raft River. Dietrich goes to Shoshone. It’s the Service Bowl for Twin Falls as they welcome crosstown rival Canyon Ridge. Gooding will board the bus and head to Wood River.
On the volleyball schedule, the Sun Valley Community School will travel to Twin Falls to play the Christian Academy. It’s district tournament time as Hansen and Glenns Ferry will play on the road at Raft River. Castleford and Raft River meet up at Raft River.
