Two Boise State players garnered Mountain West recognition for their performances against Wyoming. Wide receiver Eric McAlister was named the MW Offensive Player of the Week and quarterback Maddux Madsen was selected the MW Freshman of the Week, the conference announced. McAlister matched his career-high with seven receptions, totaling 160 yards and one touchdown. Madsen completed a career-high 12 passes on 15 attempts, totaling 147 yards and one touchdown. He finished the game 10-for-10, throwing for 124 yards during that span. Boise State returns to action this weekend with an 8 p.m. kickoff at Fresno State that will be televised nationally on the CBS Sports Network.
Boise State’s Nov. 11 football game against New Mexico will kick off at 8 p.m. MT and will air nationally on FS1. Boise State holds a 12-1 all-time series advantage over the Lobos, with the Broncos winning the past six meetings. The Blue and Orange have limited New Mexico to two touchdowns or less in nine of the 13 previous meetings. This marks the 11th time in the past 12 years that Boise State will face New Mexico, with the lone missing year being the shortened 2020 season.
Ski season will hopefully be opening soon in Sun Valley. For their 88th season there are some exciting changes. The resort plans on opening the season on Nov. 23. They will be unveiling two new chairlifts, Challenger and Flying Squirrel. They have also redesigned their website.
