Saturdays win by Boise State Mens Basketball was the third in a row and moved the bronco’s into a first place tie in the mountain West Standings.  They defeated Wyoming 92 to 72 in Laramie.  For the sixth-straight time, Tyson Degenhart led the Broncos in scoring with 22 points on 80% shooting from the field. The all-conference forward hit a trio of three-pointers, his most in a game this season.


Burley high school will host a unified basketball game.  This will be the second straight year for the bobcats.  Today, from 10 am-1 pm there will be multiple basketball games involving students from Burley, Canyon Ridge, and Twin Falls High Schools. The goal is to have a unified game amongst all students of these high schools.


Count ‘em, two ranked teams at the college of Southern Idaho.  The Women’s Basketball and the softball teams are both showing up in the NJCAA division 1 polls this week.  CSI women’s basketball comes in at No. 16 in the most recent poll.  The CSI softball team checks in at No. 18 in the week one rankings.  CSI’s basketball teams are back in action this week for the regular season finale against North Idaho College. The women’s team will play at 1 p.m., while the men’s team will play at 3 p.m.  CSI softball opens conference play with Friday and Saturday doubleheaders at College of Southern Nevada.
