The College of Southern Idaho Baseball Team came out cold Wednesday, falling to Treasure Valley 7-1 in the opening game of the doubleheader but came back with a vengeance, taking game two 16-2. The Golden Eagles managed just one hit in game one on a double by Jack Barker, while giving up six in the loss. CSI, 16-11 overall, doesn't play again until March 22 and 23 when the Golden Eagles host Colorado Northwestern.
From the scoreboard yesterday, Twin Falls defeated Jerome 10 to 0. Gooding said no to Declo 15 to 2 and it was New Plymouth 14 Wendell 4.
On the baseball schedule today, Thunder Ridge will visit Minico. Garden Valley heads to Glenns Ferry. Soda Springs will head to Declo and Mountain Home will visit Kimberly.
