Amid an investigation into alleged abuse of his players, the University of Idaho head volleyball coach has been placed on administrative leave. The university confirmed that head coach Chris Gonzalez has been placed on administrative leave. This comes after more than a dozen Vandal volleyball players reported suffering mental, verbal and physical abuse by Gonzalez as far back as 2022.
Idaho Department of Fish and Game said it will be stocking dozens of bodies of water in the Magic Valley region with 64,825 rainbow trout between April 1 and May 3. The catchable fish will be approximately 10 inches to 12 inches in length, according to IDFG.
From the local diamonds yesterday first for Baseball, Twin Falls defeated Desert Oasis Nevada in the las Vegas tourney with a score of 7 to 5. Then Legacy Nevada downed Twin Falls 5 to 4.
In softball action, Gooding took the win over Wendell 12 to 8.
Taking a look at the local high school sports schedule, first for baseball games today, Twin Falls will play Shadow Ridge Nevada in Las Vegas. Minico visits Jerome. Marsing will travel to Wendell and Mountain Home travels to play Borah.
For Softball, Marsing will Visit Wendell.
