An autopsy is set for today for a teen girl that was shot and died Sunday in Gooding.  Police say it happened in a barn in Gooding where two boys and a girl were cleaning up after finishing chores. One of the boys picked up a shotgun and it discharged killing the girl.  No arrests have been made. 



The Idaho DEQ has issued an air quality warning that extends through at least tomorrow.  The current status puts the air quality unhealthy for sensitive groups because of the smoke in Blaine, Camas, Cassia Gooding, Jerome, Lincoln, Minidoka and Twin Falls counties. 



It’s been three years since Michael Vaughan went missing from his Fruitland home.  He was five at the time.  Now Police say they have a firm understanding of the events that occurred but it depends on the county prosecutor. 



Starting Aug. 1, Idaho state parks will pause new reservations for 2025 for the rest of this year as state officials switch to an upgraded reservation system.  Parks will stay open for reservations this year. The new reservation system is planned to go live Jan. 6.



This week, motorists in the Wood River Valley and beyond will see crews seal coating several state highways. Seal coating will begin in Stanley and move through the Wood River Valley for about a month.



The Boise School District is announcing new additions to its bus fleet after receiving a grant from the EPA.  The Clean School Bus Program is providing $2.76 million in grant funds, which will allow up to eight electric school buses.  The process is expected to take 18 months.

Plummeting crude oil prices are creating savings at the pump even as fuel demand is rising.  According to AAA, Idaho’s average price for a gallon of regular gasoline is $3.57, which is two cents less than a week ago and a month ago, and 34 cents less than a year ago.
